Sunrise Stage is the premier music venue for watching live artists in an intimate setting. With just over 100 comfortable seats, this concert venue creates a deeper connection between the audience and artist. The listening environment is enhanced with a high-end, professional sound system to refine acoustics and provide a comfortable seating.
“This is the first room in Fayetteville that’s built purely as a showcase venue, the first and foremost focus being on good sound,” says Darren Novotny with Springdale Acoustics Inc. Novotny, who is a musician and one of the sound engineers on the project, uses his experience to improve the sound projected from the stage and into the audience.
“As a result, we’ve done a couple things on stage that you don’t see many places,” Novotny suggests of the diffuser acoustic panels.
“Everybody has a good seat; the sound is even. And that’s a function of the acoustical treatment of the space in conjunction with the loudspeaker system we chose and the way it’s installed. The SLS loudspeakers in there, in my opinion, are the finest on the planet. They just sound silky smooth — very natural. They don’t sound like amplifiers; they just sound like the music that is naturally there.”
“Really, the sound in the room was something to behold, maybe the best sounding room for a 100-seat concert venue in town. The room sounded so dry — meaning organic, present and little room noise or echo interference — nearly recording quality. The drums especially sounded so warm and full.” – Nick Brothers, The Free Weekly
