Acoustic Guitars FAQs

What are the differences between a classical and an acoustic guitar?

A classical guitar tends to have a smaller body and a wider neck than does an acoustic guitar. They also use nylon strings instead of the steel variety that are used by the acoustic guitar.

How much should I expect to pay for a standard electric guitar?

Well, that is largely dependant on what you want in a guitar. In most music stores, one can find simple beginner level guitars for less than a few hundred dollars. If, however, you’re looking for something of higher quality, guitars can range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.

Where can I find custom guitars?

If you live in or near a major city in America, chances are you can find a custom guitar maker nearby. However, many more options are available through online dealers.
